Brian arrilved and heard me out. Our cellar is a crawl space but he figured out he could get to the furnace and at least look into it. He discovered the 5 burners had a fair amount of rust (this is a salty place) and proceeded to clean them up. He is also looking into a new heater tape for the pipe that removes condensation. He was diligent and thorough and showed me pictures he took of the issues.
