The service manager, Joe, was very helpful and scheduled my oil burner service within a couple of days since I am about to be out if the country for several weeks and I was concerned whether the boiler would stop again while away. Dave the service technician was very knowledge about my Viessmann boiler and its Riello burner. He took great care in both cleaning and adjusting the burner to minimize the CO output while obtaining as high efficiency as possible. Dave also cleaned up an oil spill caused by faulty installation of fuel filter and poor tightening if the compression coupling by the oil tank.

I had a furnace out and called at 8:30 AM and said the last time this occurred the Service Tech did not arrive till 4:30 PM and that was OK that time because I did not need to go anywhere on that day but this time I could not wait all day because I had appointments that I had to keep. The Service Tech said he was diverted from his original call to take care of me, he arrived early, was very thorough and fixed the problem. This allowed me to keep my appointments. We have been having off and in trouble with the furnace. Another service company thought it might be a bad nozzle. A previous Townsend service man thought that the furnace was overheating and shutting down. Mike found that yes, the filter was a problem(I had inadvertently bought the wrong size), but there was also a bad switch. He went above and beyond getting the furnace back on line.
